Chapter 1880:
She shouted furiously at Belinda, “Stay away! Don’t come any closer!”
To Holley, Belinda looked like a devil now—an inescapable monster coming to ruin her.
Belinda’s smile was deceptively innocent.
“What are you so afraid of? I’m simply offering you a drink, out of kindness. It’s not as if I wish to harm you.”
“Get away! Get away from me! Don’t you dare come closer!” Holley screamed, kicking her legs wildly in her desperation.
The two bodyguards exchanged a look, then swiftly struck her knees, forcing her down.
“Ah!” Holley cried out as she collapsed, kneeling on the floor.
“Help! Help! Mom, please, help me!” She turned to Kenia for help.
Her voice grew raw as she sobbed, hot tears streaming down her cheeks.
Each cry twisted Kenia’s heart like a blade.
The agony she felt was suffocating, her chest aching, making it difficult for her to breathe.
Tears spilled down her face.
She couldn’t fathom how things had spiraled so far…
Why had her daughter become so cruel?
Belinda looked down at Holley, the faintest smile playing on her lips. In a calm, almost gentle tone, she said, “Don’t be scared. I only wish to offer a glass of juice to you. It just so happens… this particular glass is the very one you spiked.”
Belinda looked at the glass of juice in her hand, a faint smile playing on her lips.
“I’m just really curious to know what you slipped into this drink. Why are you so terrified?”
“I messed up! Belinda, I swear I was wrong! Please, forgive me! I’ll never do it again…” Holley’s sobs wracked her body, tears streaming down her face, her words a confession that she had indeed tampered with the juice.
Hearing that, Kenia shut her eyes in anguish.
She couldn’t believe that her daughter had turned out to be such an evil person.

Belinda set the glass of juice aside.
Holley’s crying stopped after she saw that, her eyes wide with disbelief.
Was Belinda really sparing her? She wouldn’t let her drink that anymore?
Before Holley could process further, Belinda’s voice cut through her thoughts.
“Holley, tell me—who are my real parents?”
Holley’s heart lurched at that.
She swallowed hard, stammering, “W-what do you mean, real parents? What nonsense are you talking about? Your father and I… we’re your real parents!”
