Chapter 1878:
Their happy days were numbered.
Carola had lost to her completely.
Belinda lifted her eyes lazily and cast a glance at Holley. Seeing the delight and thrill almost spilling out of her expression, Belinda wore the faintest knowing smile.
She asked directly, “What has you so delighted? Care to share?”
Her words snapped Holley back to reality.
Only then did she realize her emotions had slipped free, revealing more than she had intended.
But since things had already reached this point and her plan had succeeded, what did she have to fear?
Holley offered a smile.
“Oh, nothing. I just think this moment feels so warm and harmonious. It brings back good memories.”
“I see.” Belinda gave a small nod.
After a pause, a quiet sneer touched her lips.
“I thought you were pleased because I drank this juice.”
The moment those words left Belinda’s mouth, Holley’s expression faltered.
She looked at Belinda’s calm, unruffled demeanor, her heart pounding with sudden panic. What did Belinda mean by that?
Why mention the juice out of nowhere?
Did she… know something?
Holley swallowed hard, forcing a smile.
“Belinda, what are you talking about?”
Belinda arched a brow.
“You don’t understand? Then perhaps I should make myself a little clearer.”
With a leisurely air, she picked up the glass of juice again and took another sip.
Setting it down, she fixed Holley with a sharp gaze, her lips curving ever so slightly.

“Didn’t you put something in my juice?”
Holley could no longer maintain her composure; her face drained of all color.
How could this be… How did Belinda know?
Beside them, Kenia—who had been silent until now—turned her eyes on Holley, her gaze filled with crushing disappointment and pain.
When Holley snapped back to herself, her first instinct was denial.
“B-Belinda, what are you saying? How could I possibly put anything in your juice? I’m your mother! How could I ever do such a thing to you?”
“My mother? Really?” Belinda sneered, her smile steeped in mockery as she rolled the word “mother” on her tongue with bitter sarcasm.
