Chapter 82:
“Aldrich, who are you to question me about this, what does this have to do with you?” Charlotte took two steps back to keep her distance from Aldrich.
She didn’t understand what kind of spell she had been put under before, why she had been so devoted to this man for two years, and only today was she discovering that he was such a shameless person!
Was he too well disguised before, or was she too stupid?
“Of course it has things to do with me!” Aldrich stepped forward and grabbed her by the shoulders, “How could you find another man right after our divorce? Why does he treat you so well? He’s so rich, did you fall in love with him long ago, were you with him during our marriage? I always thought you were a good woman, but I didn’t expect you to be so vain and shameless!” Charlotte was taken aback.
She looked at the man in disbelief and ascertained that he was indeed shameless.
There was no point in talking to him anymore. Charlotte scoffed and looked at him with cold eyes.
“Yes, I’m vain, I’m shameless, I admit it. Can you let go of me now?” What a good ex-husband she had!
After two years together, he questioned her when he met her again, and never questioned whether he had done wrong, nor could he see that she was now shoeless and still wearing a hospital gown.
Charlotte really felt that she was truly blind before.
“Letting go? That’s not possible, you must apologize to me.”
Charlotte, “……”
“Charlotte, after apologizing to me, you still have to go apologize to my mother, you cheated on us……”
“Oh, I’m saying this for the last time, let go of me!” Charlotte was so angry that she slapped Aldrich, who was instantly furious after receiving the slap.

Aldrich grabbed her by the arm and dragged her forcefully. Charlotte’s strength was no match for him, “Let go of me, let go of me!”.

“Let go of me……” Charlotte’s arm was hurting badly.
Suddenly, a tall figure blocked in front of Aldrich, stopping his advance.
Aldrich looked at the man who suddenly appeared in front of him and frowned as he dragged Charlotte in another direction. The man had also changed direction and blocked her way again.
Aldrich became annoyed, “Who are you, why are you blocking my way?”. The man smiled slightly and his voice was extremely warm.
“I’m sorry, the woman dragging is my sister-in-law.”
“Sister-in-law?”
At the sound of the familiar voice, Charlotte raised her head and saw Manfred.
He was wearing a white shirt without a single wrinkle. Even though he was blocking Aldrich’s way, his eyes were still warm and kind, looking like a modest gentleman.
Therefore, Aldrich was not at all afraid of him.
“Is she your sister-in-law? She’s my wife, I can do whatever I want with her!”
“I said she’s my sister-in-law, And you said she’s your wife? Are you my brother? How come I don’t know?” Manfred smiled faintly, but a dangerous light had surfaced under his eyes.
Aldrich: “Stay out of this, this is between me and her.”
“I’ll give you five seconds to let her go.”
That said, Manfred pulled out his phone and called the police directly.
“If you still don’t let her go after connecting the call, don’t blame me for calling the police. I think the police are interested in the kidnapping case.”
Manfred turned on the speakerphone.
Aldrich was scared out of his wits by it. After hearing the phone ring, he finally let go of Charlotte and looked at her viciously. “Wait and see, you won’t be so lucky next time.”
Aldrich then fled the scene with quick steps.
Manfred quickly hung up the phone. Charlotte looked at Manfred and said, “Thank you, Manfred.”
As she uttered the words, her body fell forward limply.
Manfred reached out to take her in his arms.
When he touched her, he realized that Charlotte was thin, and even her bones showed.
“Charlotte?” Manfred called out to her, but Charlotte had closed her eyes without awareness.
Manfred felt distressed for her. He put the phone in his pocket and picked her up.
This scene fell into the eyes of Kennedy and Nathan, who were standing not far away.
After seeing Manfred pick up Charlotte, Nathan sensed that Kennedy’s aura was different from before, which made him feel like he was in hell.
He stammered and explained to Kennedy, “Mr. Kennedy, Assistant Wilson has fainted.”
Kennedy laughed coldly in his heart of hearts.
Of course, he knew she had fainted.
She had strength when she hit him. Now she fainted when she saw Manfred and fell into his arms?
What a bitch!
“She hasn’t eaten since yesterday, so it’s normal for her to faint.” Nathan was still explaining for Charlotte.
Kennedy said nothing.
“Mr. Kennedy, should we take Attendant Wilson back?”
Kennedy stared at him. Nathan immediately flinched,
“No?”
“Why should I?” Kennedy scoffed, “She can go into the arms of anyone she wants.”
Nathan, “Mr. Kennedy, are you jealous?”
Kennedy gave him a cold stare. Nathan unconsciously took two steps back: “If you don’t want to go personally, I can go for you.”
“You dare!”
Well, he did want to go and he wouldn’t let Nathan go.
He didn’t admit to being jealous, but seeing that Asst. Wilson was in the arms of others made him angry, and his eyes seemed to have fire in them.
“Mr. Kennedy, where are we going now?”
Kennedy, “Back to the company.”
“What about Asst. Wilson?”
“Don’t mention her again.”
Nathan fell silent. Kennedy rolled his wheelchair alone, but he was so angry he gritted his teeth.
That damned woman had kissed him a moment ago and now she was in the arms of another man.Scoundrel!
