Chapter 75:
Kennedy’s eyes fell on her body like a hard knife. Charlotte was speechless for a moment, not knowing how to explain herself.
So she could only bite her lower lip and look at Kennedy, unprepared to explain and speak.
Kennedy narrowed her eyes slightly. Her fingertips lightly gripped the metal support of the wheelchair, “It looks like you’re not going to explain.” Charlotte stubbornly bit her lower lip harder.
“Assistant Wilson, how did you follow me here?” Nathan was surprised to see Charlotte appear here, but in his heart he was quite glad, was Assistant Wilson jealous because she knew about Mr. Kennedy?
Thinking about this, Nathan could not help but look at Kennedy.
Seeing her frown hard, her body temperature frighteningly low, only then did Nathan randomly push his thoughts away.
“Since you’re not going to explain, I’ll pretend I don’t know. Deal with her as you should.” After saying that, Kennedy rolled his wheelchair and turned around, Nathan stared, “Mr. Kennedy……”
But Kennedy didn’t seem to hear him and quickly walked back into the room.
Charlotte looked at his back and realized something. She wanted to call out to him, but his cold eyes crossed her mind, so Charlotte’s words stopped.
Nathan couldn’t help but look at Assistant Wilson and whispered, “You’re really not going to explain yourself?” Of course I am.
Charlotte lowered her gaze, “Will you believe my words?”.
She didn’t like him anyway, what was the point of explaining herself?
“You……”
“Nathan, what should we do?” The conversation made her men realize that Charlotte knew Kennedy and Nathan’s attitude toward Charlotte was not normal. This meant that Charlotte’s relationship with Mr. Kennedy wasn’t bad, but they did know what kind of relationship it was.
Nathan thought about it, pursed his lips and said, “Mr. Kennedy didn’t say it clearly, but his identity is not ordinary, you guys take it easy.” It meant they could not abuse her.
The men looked at each other and nodded.
They took Charlotte out and the interrogation continued in the room.
Nathan quickly returned and stood behind Kennedy.
“Go on!”
The woman looked out and asked suspiciously, “Did something happen?”
Nathan replied, “Nothing, just a little episode, it won’t have any repercussions, where exactly did you go and what did you do that day, did anything special happen?”
The woman paused for a moment and then raised her eyes to look at Kennedy, the corners of her eyes slightly upward, “Special things? What do you mean?”
Nathan froze for a moment and was about to speak. Suddenly, Kennedy said coolly, “Do you have permission to ask questions?”
The woman felt startled by the powerful aura in her body, and was slow to come to her senses, “I just want to know what you mean by special things.”
If Kennedy wasn’t around, he almost fell into this woman’s trap, “We’ll know if it’s the special stuff if you say it out loud!”
The woman bit her lower lip and didn’t speak, lowering her head and looking at the floor.
“Say it!”
“Why should I say it?” The woman smiled suddenly, then said softly, “It’s my private business. Even if you brought me here, I still have the right to choose to be silent, don’t I?”
Kennedy narrowed his eyes slightly, stared at the woman before him. As she approached, the powerful aura of her body enveloped her. The woman’s lips trembled, but her heart was aroused. Unconsciously she stood up and wanted to approach Kennedy.
Before she got close, however, the pungent scent of perfume from her body caused Kennedy to recoil.
“Take it out!” Kennedy suddenly said in a cold voice.
“Mr. Kennedy?”
Nathan looked at Kennedy uncertainly, what had happened, had he let her go straight away? He had gone out of his way to find her!
“Get her out!” Kennedy’s tone was aggravated, AND his voice obviously already contained anger!
Nathan dared not hesitate any longer and hurried to ask someone to get her out.
After the people left, Nathan looked ahead, only to discover that the place where the woman had just stood had a strong scent of perfume. Since he was too far away, he didn’t notice it.
“Mr. Kennedy, is the perfume uncomfortable?” Nathan went over to ask and pushed him toward the window, where there was no strange odor.
Kennedy pursed his lips wordlessly, his eyes drooping, long lashes covered his eyes. No one could see the emotions under his eyes.
That night, there was no extra odor on the woman.
That’s why the drugged Kennedy couldn’t control himself and desired her.
The woman’s youth and tightness drove him crazy. She was like a little white rabbit, definitely not like the person now, who was trying to seduce him. And, the smell of perfume on her body was extremely strong.
Kennedy squinted his eyes and remembered that rainy night.
“Sir, sir, are you all right?”
Then he locked her in his arms. She was so scared that her body wouldn’t stop shaking. He wanted to push her away, but he couldn’t let her go. The clean scent of her body made him feel like an unsealed wolf.
But he didn’t expect not to be able to find the woman who escaped after waking up, leaving him no clue.
He noticed that he did not dare to face the fact. Or maybe it was her first time, so she was so scared that she ran away.
Kennedy raised his head and flashed a cold smile.
As long as she was in town, he would definitely be able to find her.
“Mr. Kennedy, our staff is spread out all over City B. Will you be in other cities?”
Nathan’s question made Kennedy furrow his eyebrows.
Yes, could that woman be in other cities?
At this thought, Kennedy’s eyes grew stern and his voice grew rougher.
“Then send more men and go out and get her!”
Nathan nodded, “All right, then I’ll send more people. I wonder if we should also check if those women have miscarried. I don’t think any girl would give birth to a stranger’s baby, what kind of woman would she be to be so rare?”
Speaking of that, Nathan thought of something else: “And we can’t check it only at the hospital, can we? After all, that woman isn’t necessarily pregnant.”
Hearing that, the veins in Kennedy’s forehead popped, suddenly a fist towards Nathan crashed.
“Damn it, you should have thought of this a long time ago, and you still dare to bring it up in front of me?”
