Crazy for her – Chapter 6

Crazy for her - Chapter 6

Chapter 6:

Not knowing how many cups of coffee had been prepared, Charlotte was so exhausted that she felt dizzy and thought about giving up. When she took the coffee into the meeting room, Kennedy had already left.

She hadn’t said whether she had stopped by or not, but she had left immediately….

Charlotte left the coffee on the table, turned and left.

When she reached the first floor, she saw Kennedy’s car leaving the Moore Group building.

And again, she was abandoned.

Charlotte laughed at herself sarcastically. She should have expected this.

She headed for the street and thought about taking a cab, but a silver-white car pulled up in front of her.

“Charlotte, let me take you home.”

The car window opened. Manfred’s handsome, gentle face was exposed.

Charlotte was stunned for a moment, then shook her head: “There’s no need. If Kennedy saw that, he’d say she was trying to flirt casually.

“Come in, you’ve been running for a few hours, you’re already exhausted.” When he had finished speaking, Manfred unbuckled his seat belt and got out of the car to open the door for her. He really was a gentleman that the others were unwilling to reject.

Finally, Charlotte got into her car.

“Thank you.”

“You’re welcome.” Manfred smiled gently at her and reminded her: “Put your seatbelt on.”

She took the car Manfred offered her to return to the Moore family. Manfred was silent the whole way. He didn’t ask her any unnecessary questions and let her out of the car in the driveway.

Charlotte walked slowly to her room. She still sighed at Manfred’s kindness.

The two of them were brothers. But why were their personalities so different?

After entering the room, Charlotte stopped in her tracks.

The reason was that her suitcase was lying on the floor.

Charlotte was startled for a few seconds. She raised her eyes to look at the person in the room.

“Who allows you to occupy my house with your things?”

Charlotte was silent for a moment and stepped forward to put the suitcase down properly: “You, you’re not coming back?”

On her wedding night, she had let her subordinate take her directly. Therefore, Charlotte thought, he wouldn’t be coming back.

“Hey, this is my room.”

Charlotte remained silent. Then she bit her lower lip, “But I’m your wife.”

“A wife who marries me in the name of her younger sister?” Charlotte was speechless.

It seemed he wouldn’t allow her to stay in that room. From his words and actions, she could tell that he hated her very much, but she really couldn’t leave.

Thinking about it, Charlotte looked at him with pleading eyes: “I beg you, can you let me stay in the corner of this room? I just need the corner, I don’t need any extra space.”

“No!”

Charlotte’s face turned pale: “But if I leave, Grandpa will find out.”

Kennedy gave an order. Nathan stepped forward: “Miss Wilson, please get out of here; don’t make me treat you violently.”

Charlotte bit her lower lip, “Is that really non-negotiable?

Kennedy’s eyes were like a wolf’s, glowing fiercely.

After a few seconds of staring, Charlotte turned and dragged her suitcase out of the room.

The door then closed.

“Mr. Kennedy, you really don’t seem to like difficulties and prefer to give up.”

Kennedy curved her lips in disdain. At first, he thought she was very determined, but surprisingly she gave up so easily.

Haha, she really was vulnerable.

“Did you send a man to the hospital?” asked Kennedy sharply.

Nathan’s expression changed, “No, not yet.”

“Then why are you here now?”

“I’ll take care of it!” said Nathan.

Nathan left quickly. When he left the room, he saw that Charlotte was still standing at the door with her suitcase. He showed her an expression that meant “good luck” and left.

The next day…

Nathan came looking for Kennedy. When he saw the scene at the door, his eyes couldn’t help but widen in surprise.

He tiptoed into the bedroom, woke Kennedy up and helped him wash and change his clothes.

Halfway there, he couldn’t help but speak: “Mr. Kennedy, Miss Wilson…”.

When Nathan mentioned the woman, Kennedy frowned in disgust. His aura instantly became intense.

“Mr. Kennedy, not that I deliberately mentioned her, but she…” Nathan couldn’t go on, so he simply got to the point: “I think Mr. Kennedy should go to the door and have a look for himself.”

“Get me out of here.”

Even though Kennedy had a strong psychological quality, he was still surprised to see the woman sleeping on the doorstep in her jacket.

Charlotte put her suitcase next to her and covered herself with her jacket while she slept against the wall. Probably due to sleepiness, her whole body fell to the floor. And due to the feeling of cold, she shivered as she tried to hide her body under the coat. What it exposed was her small white face.

Her skin was so white that it actually glowed. Her hair hadn’t been done with any special process, but it was still purely smooth and soft. A few strands of hair were on her forehead and this made her look a little innocent.

Looking at her trembling body, Kennedy felt sorry for her.

A few moments later, he said coldly, “Go wake her up”.

Nathan was stunned, “How do you wake her up?”

“Is there a special way to wake someone up?” said Kennedy.

Nathan approached and lifted his foot. He gently kicked Charlotte’s ass.

Kennedy’s face darkened instantly. His voice was icy, “What are you doing?”

Nathan showed an innocent face, “I’m waking her up”. He touched his nose, “Sir, is it because you think I’m kicking her too hard? Then I’ll kick her harder. In Nathan’s opinion, Kennedy must really hate Charlotte.

“Stop it. I told you to wake her up, but I never told you to hurt her.” Kennedy held back his anger, which was about to explode.

“I get it!” Nathan finally understood what she meant. He immediately crouched down to push Charlotte’s shoulder. Charlotte was sleeping like a log, so she only opened her eyes with difficulty after being pushed for a long time.

“Miss Wilson, it’s dawn, wake up.” It’s dawn?

After being confused for a while, she sat up. She looked around and realized that the room was already very bright. Then she rubbed her eyes.

She hadn’t expected to actually sleep through the night. Time had flown by…

“Who let you sleep in the doorway?”

While she was still thinking, a question was thrown at her coldly.

Charlotte looked up and saw that Kennedy was staring at her.

She sat down and lost her head for a moment, apparently thinking about what had happened yesterday. Then, after a moment, she hugged her jacket tightly and whispered: “I’ve nowhere to go”.

Perhaps because she had slept on the floor all night, Charlotte’s voice had a strong nasal tone.

“So that’s why you’re making a fool of yourself sleeping here?”

Charlotte bit her lower lip, raised her head to meet Kennedy’s cold gaze and said stubbornly: “If you think I’m making a fool of myself, you should let me in to sleep.”

“You…”

Kennedy was speechless. Surprisingly, she dared to protest plausibly.

Charlotte stared at her. Compared to the night before, her face was now abnormally pale. She looked ill. At the sight of her vulnerable appearance, Kennedy’s heart inexplicably softened and he snorted.

Nathan stepped forward to push the wheelchair, “Mr. Kennedy, what about Miss Wilson…”

Kennedy turned and looked back. His gaze was sharp, “Don’t make a fool of yourself at the door.”

After the two of them had left, Charlotte stood up, holding her jacket.

Her words of a moment ago… meant that she was allowing him into the room, didn’t they?

It didn’t matter if it was a yes or a no. As he had already left, she decided to go inside to wash up.

While brushing her teeth, Charlotte felt surprisingly nauseous. She leaned against the sink and vomited several times before she had finished brushing her teeth.

After rinsing her mouth, Charlotte felt cold, so she took a hot shower.

After the hot shower, she was still cold. In addition, her throat was too sore for her to speak normally and she even felt dizzy.

After some thought, Charlotte decided to go to the hospital to get some medicine.
