Jack was disappointed. He didn’t obediently go to sleep. Instead, he went downstairs to pour a glass of milk for Alice.

When Annie sent the porridge to Kennedy, she found that she had gathered all her things and was about to put on her shoes.

“So, you believe his words?” Annie grabbed the medical document in her hand and then stared at Kennedy. “Why would you decide that on your own? You just had a car accident. You can’t get out of the hospital now.”
Then Kennedy frowned and said coolly, “Even if it was a car accident, I wasn’t seriously injured. It was an ordinary injury. I’m fine now.” Annie was speechless.
“Well, since you’re so stubborn, I’ll arrange for some girls to meet you. I told you I’ll introduce you to some girls when you get out of the hospital. You’re in a big hurry, so you want to meet those girls, don’t you?”

Kennedy got up and buttoned his coat. Then he said coldly, “Let’s go back to the company.”
Nathan nodded and followed him.

“Where are you going? You can’t go anywhere without my orders.” Kennedy went cold. He pursed his lips and stood still.
“Kennedy, I don’t care if you don’t follow my words. But if you don’t promise to meet me with those girls, I’ll die and tell your mother about this when I meet her in heaven.” Kennedy said nothing.
So did Nathan.
He swallowed and stammered, “Mrs. Porter, you don’t have to be so serious. Mr. Moore has a strong body. He’ll be fine even if he’s released from the hospital early.”
“You don’t need to say anything now.” Annie looked at Nathan and said, “He has a strong body. But he’s not a robot. He needs to rest well. Patients shouldn’t work immediately without rest when they’ve just recovered. He relies too much on his body.
Nathan said, “Mrs. Porter, I…”
“Shut up. It has nothing to do with you. Now you can take a day off. Go back to rest.”

Annie stood in the doorway and blocked his way.
After a long while, Kennedy returned to the bed.
She said coldly, “I can stay here for another week. Just don’t arrange for those girls to meet me.”
“Haha, I won’t promise, even if you decide to stay here for a month.” Annie grimaced and closed the door. Then she walked into the living room.
“I’ve contacted a girl. She told me she could meet with you in the afternoon. Kennedy, this isn’t a joke. I’m serious. You’d better meet her today, otherwise I’ll be dying to see your mother in heaven.”
