Chapter 367:.
On the second day, due to Alice’s return, the entire Nelson Family seemed to perk up.
“I heard that Miss Nelson went home last night with a very handsome boy. I want to see him.”
Several maids were talking in hushed voices.
“They didn’t get up. They got here at midnight. They won’t get up until noon.
Miss Nelson is said to look very much like her mother.”
“Really? Five years ago, I told you that the fake Miss Nelson didn’t look like the Nelson Family’s daughter. I was right.”
“The truth never lasts and time tells the truth. Now that the real Miss Nelson is back, the fake one could no longer disguise herself.”
“Well, the fake Miss Nelson was kicked out of the Nelson Family five years ago.
Where did she go?”
“I don’t know. But she wouldn’t have a good ending.”
“Don’t talk about her. I hear Miss Nelson’s son is very handsome and dashing.”
“Really?”
“I’m looking forward to meeting him.” Everyone was excited.
Alice got up about noon. She had been very tired the night before. When she got up, she discovered that Jack was not in the room.
She stopped and remembered that they were at the Nelson Family. Jack should have come downstairs. So she was relieved and got up to wash.
When she came downstairs, she saw Jack downstairs. He was surrounded by the crowd and was saying something.
Jack was a popular boy and everyone liked him when they met him.
Alice had gotten used to this situation.
As she started to leave, she heard Yanis call out to her in a low voice.
She then turned to give Yanis a glance and found her hiding in a corner and looking nervously at her. Yanis asked her to come to his house.
Alice headed toward her.
“What’s wrong, why are you hiding here?”
Yanis was sorry and said, “It’s because of you!”.
“Because of me?”
“If you had woken me up last night, I wouldn’t have embarrassed myself in front of your brother. Now I don’t dare go downstairs. I’m afraid of meeting Zain.”
Alice was curious to know what he had done last night. Yanis did not answer her after she sent the message to ask him about the situation.
At this point, she asked him again,
“What happened last night, what did you do to my brother?”.
Hearing her words, Yanis’ eyes widened and he shook his head. He said, “I didn’t do anything.”
“Well then, what did my brother do to you?”.
Yanis looked at her in disbelief and said, “Alice, how can you think of your brother this way?”.
Alice was speechless.
She said nothing about Zain and turned around to go downstairs.
Yanis grabbed her sleeve nervously and said, “Don’t go, help me.”
“What can I do?”
“Is your brother downstairs now?”
“He’s not there.”
“Really, you’re not lying to me? I saw that you didn’t look at him.”
“I saw him just now,” Alice said helplessly.
Yanis sighed in relief and said, “Well, I’ll go with you.”
Then he followed Alice and wanted to go downstairs with her. However, they saw Zain on the way.
Zain had not noticed them. Yanis’ face changed instantly. Then he turned and ran before Zain noticed them.
When Alice looked again, she discovered that Yanis had disappeared.
Alice felt helpless.
She ran very fast.
Alice ran down the stairs herself.
“Zain, what happened last night?”
“What?” Zain asked, “What happened?”
Alice was speechless. Yanis ran when she saw Zain. But Zain was still very quiet when she asked him. He was curious to know what had happened between them the night before.
“Nothing,” Alice smiled, and said, “Where are you going today?”
“After lunch, I’ll take you somewhere.”
“Okay.”
The maids finally joined Alice. At that moment they were attracted to Jack. He was a very handsome and intelligent boy. They surrounded him, asked him questions and even took pictures of him.
They shared the pictures with their friends.
Then Jack went back to eat with Alice.
“Zain, have you eaten the food?”
“You, did you wash your hands?”
“Yes. By the way, where is Yanis?” Jack looked around and didn’t find her, so he asked quizzically.
Hearing her words, Zain frowned slightly and remembered his madness from last night.
When he left the room, he also heard her screaming.
This woman was very loud.
“Yanis may have something to deal with.” Alice turned to sort out her clothes for Jack.
She smiled and said, “Can you go buy her lunch?”
“Okay.” Jack jumped out of the chair neatly and ran upstairs.
Then he soon returned, looking a little depressed. He said, “Yanis said she was uncomfortable and didn’t want to eat with us.”
Alice smiled and said, “Never mind. Let’s eat first. The maids will send you some food later.”
“Okay.”
B-Town People’s Hospital,
Annie didn’t expect to see Kennedy at the hospital after firing him last night.
“What’s the matter with you? I told you to be careful.”
Annie looked at Kennedy who was lying on the bed and said, “But you were in a car accident in B-Town at midnight, why didn’t you pay attention to your safety?” Kennedy said nothing at her words.
He was thinking about something.
“I’m talking to you!”
“Annie,”
Kennedy said suddenly in a low voice.
Annie asked, “What?”
“I thought I saw her.”
Annie paused and then asked, “Who is she?”
