“I think she’s crazy.”
“I agree. She just said she wouldn’t go with us. But then she just stared at the man. Now she’s asking us if he’s been by. She must be crazy.” Then they went straight away.
Yanis stood still for a long time. Then he glanced in Kennedy’s direction and discovered that he had gotten into a car. She tried to see the license plate of his car. It appeared to be from B-town.
It turned out she wasn’t mistaken, nor was she hallucinating, but she did run into Kennedy.

It was a wonderful but terrible thing.
Yanis felt frightened, and so she quickly turned around to leave.
After Alice returned to the car with Jack, he fell asleep in her arms with his hands wrapped tightly around her waist.
It was their habit. Whenever they went out, if he wanted to sleep, he would hug Alice tightly with his hands. He seemed to be afraid that she would suddenly disappear.
Alice rubbed his head and rested in the car.
She didn’t know when they might get out of here.
Then her phone vibrated. She glanced at it and discovered it was a message from Zain.
[Where are you?]
Alice got a little angry when she saw his message, so she replied.
[Thanks to you, we are blocked on the highway now].
[What happened?]
Zain answered her quickly. Through the words, Alice could imagine his expression at that moment.
Alice sent a message before he called.
[Jack is asleep].
After a long time, he answered her.
[How did you know I was going to call you?]
[Because I’m your sister. A car just exploded on the highway. The police took care of it. We waited a long time].
[Why didn’t you tell me? I’ll come and pick you up right away].
Alice knew that Zain should leave without hesitation. She instantly sent him a message.
[Don’t come and pick me up, we’ll be back soon].
However, he did not answer her. Alice felt helpless. He must have left home.
At that moment, Yanis returned. She opened the door and got into the car. As she got into the car, the cold wind blew into the car. Alice leaned forward unconsciously to block the wind for Jack.
“You’re back,” Alice said softly.
Yanis was scared at that moment, so her face was still pale. She merely nodded her head.
Alice looked at her and asked, “What happened to you?”
“What?” Yanis’ voice was a little loud. After that, she realized that her voice might annoy Jack. He instantly covered his mouth, shook his head and said, “Nothing.”
“Nothing?” Alice saw his face and knew something must have happened. She said, “Your face is very pale. Something must have happened to you.”
Hearing her words, Yanis quickly reached out his hand to touch her face.
‘Your face was very pale? Damn it.’
He took out a mirror and looked into it. He thought he looked terrible. She tried to touch up her makeup. Alice stopped her and said quietly,
“You don’t need to do this. I can see it in your eyes. Tell me, what happened?”
Yanis paused, then looked at Alice, and said seriously, “Actually, my tummy hurts and I want to go to the bathroom.” Alice was speechless.
“But I couldn’t find a bathroom here. I can only stand it, so I broke out in a cold sweat.” Alice was speechless again.
“Unfortunately, I really want to go to the bathroom.” Yanis touched his cheeks and forced a smile.
To hide the secret from Alice, he had to lie to her.
If Zain were here, he wouldn’t use this excuse, which was very embarrassing.
Then he smiled helplessly.
Alice was speechless and couldn’t tell if what Yanis said was true or not.
Then she asked, “Are you all right now?”.
“Yes,” nodded Yanis and said, “I’m fine.”
Alice was silent for a while and suddenly said, “You’d better not cook in the future.”
Yanis asked, “Why?”
“Because I will remember what you said today when you cook.”
Yanis, “…”
Ten minutes later, they were informed that they could leave at that time.
Margo drove the car slowly, and Yanis became nervous again. She leaned against the window and glanced out of it. She was afraid they would run into Kennedy again.
It should be impossible.
However, she was still very worried because they were all headed for B-town. They might run into him in B-town in the future. Yanis didn’t know why Kennedy went to City S. But she didn’t dare tell Alice. She might be sad because of him.
Therefore, Yanis decided not to tell Alice that he had just seen Kennedy.

Alice asked him again. Yanis looked back and saw that Alice was looking at herself with a slight smile on her face. Her cold eyes were like an icy lake, as if she had seen right through her.
Yanis suddenly felt that Alice had known that he had told her a lie.
However, he didn’t want to tell her about Kennedy.
Alice wouldn’t know that she had just met Kennedy. Yanis closed his eyes and did not speak to her.
Alice did not ask him again.
After all, everyone had their own secrets.
The car moved quickly in the darkness. Alice felt tired. At that moment, Yanis said to her,
“Just take a nap. I’m not sleepy now. Marco and I will take care of Jack.”
“Okay.” Alice nodded and closed her eyes.
She soon fell asleep.
Yanis glanced at Alice and her face changed.
He hoped they wouldn’t run into Kennedy on the trip. If not, he wouldn’t know what to do.
After all, Alice was the one who was hurt by Kennedy.
But she loved him deeply.
