Hearing that, Alice didn’t get angry. Instead, she smiled with a raised eyebrow.
“Is that so? I thought your agent David hired me as a designer, not a maid or something. So this is all his fault. It looks like he’s going to cancel this cooperation. David, since you were the one who signed the contract, please transfer the contract cancellation fees to my account in time.”

Yanis was slow to realize what had happened after Alice pulled her out of the door and said, “Alice!”. He pulled Alice to a halt and asked with a steady gaze, “What were you doing a moment ago?”
“As you saw, I got into a fight with them.” Alice replied indifferently.
“But now we have offended Kate James. She’s a popular actress in the country and doesn’t seem like an easy person to deal with. She doesn’t seem to want to pay the contract cancellation fees.”
“I know.”
“This is all my fault. I shouldn’t have been even a minute late. Even though I was angry with her, I don’t want you to suffer for this. I’ll apologize to her and make her let it go.”
Saying this, Yanis shook off Alice’s hand, turned around and headed toward the bedroom.
Alice stayed where she was and said coldly with her arms folded, “Are you coming back? I just got you out of there.”
“Or what else can I do? This is our first order since returning from overseas. I’m afraid it will affect the development of your business in the country.”
“Are you going to grovel before all those who insult you just so that the development of my business won’t be affected? Weren’t you angry when he said those insulting words to you?”
“Yes.” Yanis said angrily and sucked his lower lip, “But she gives a lot of money, Alice…”

“I hear you are a foreign designer.”
Alice nodded with a raised eyebrow, “Nice to meet you.”
“You are too polite. You have a good image, do you want to be an actress? I’m not satisfied with one of our supporting actresses. I think you are more suitable for that role. So, do you want to try?”
This was certainly a good opportunity for any actress. Almost all actresses would agree to such an invitation.
However, Alice was not interested at all.
“Thank you for your invitation, but I’m not interested in being an actress.”
