“Stop!” Kennedy stopped her. Diana stayed in situ, not looking back.
Kennedy’s cold voice came from behind her, “Don’t tell her anything!”
Diana scoffed her heart out. Charlotte already knew, but said nothing. She looked back at Kennedy, “Okay, don’t worry, I won’t tell her.”
Kennedy didn’t want to talk to her anymore. She looked coldly at Nathan, “Come on.”
Nathan stepped forward to push Kennedy’s wheelchair. When they were ready to leave, Diana suddenly said, “Have you ever thought that the truth will come out someday? If Charlotte finds out, what will you do?”.
At this talk, Diana covered her belly, bit her lip and said, “I’m pregnant with your child.”
Hearing that, Kennedy narrowed his eyes, “What did you say?”.
Diana heard her heart beating very fast. Yes, she was lying, but Kennedy cared about Charlotte if she really wanted to give her that pair of earrings. She just didn’t realize it.
She had to keep them from being together.
Kennedy was the man she liked. Since she had taken the first step, she would finish all the steps. No one, not even Charlotte, could take her man away from her.
Nathan was surprised to hear that – Diana was pregnant, wouldn’t that be a real disaster? Diana walked over and stood in front of Kennedy.
“If you don’t believe me, we can go to the hospital right now for tests. Or, if you think this child’s existence is meaningless, I can abort it and I won’t let you be in a dilemma with Charlotte.”

Nathan pushed Kennedy out of the villa in a complex mood. Diana was pregnant with Kennedy’s child, while Charlotte was pregnant with another man’s child. What would a normal man choose?

He felt Diana was not a good woman.

“Check.” Kennedy said in a cold voice, “She was right about the place and time, it was all too accurate.
It was too normal, making it abnormal.

However, the relationship between them did not change, and Diana behaved better with her.
She shared good things with her and helped her when she had problems.
She never regretted that they had become good friends, but for the first time,
Charlotte felt that the heavens had played a great joke on her by falling in love with the same man.
Diana liked her husband, and they loved each other.

Charlotte looked into his soft, pampered eyes. She burst into tears and looked up at him with reddened eyes.
Manfred froze and then turned to her.

His voice was soft, like that of a caring elder. At that moment, Charlotte felt she needed a shoulder to lean on, but…after all, Manfred was Kennedy’s brother.
With this thought clear in her mind, Charlotte pursed her lips and turned to walk away.
As weak as she was, she didn’t need to lean on anyone’s shoulders.

She didn’t deserve the love of those men.
Manfred grabbed her wrist and stopped her walk.
“Are you always going to run away?”
Charlotte was stunned and then struggled, but Manfred drew her into his arms.
“Has he come to see you these two days? If he’d cared about you, he wouldn’t have left you so unattended.”
His words pierced her heart like a needle. She pushed him away forcefully. “It’s none of your business.”
“I don’t mean to pry into your business, but who cares about you besides me?
Charlotte, can you look at me again? I’m the one who has always stood behind you, the one who has poured his heart out to you, the one who truly loves you. Can you love me instead of him?”
Hearing this, Charlotte turned around amused, “You seem to think feelings come and go quickly. Can feelings be transferred so easily? Do you think I want him to like me? If I could, I’d rather not have married him!”
