Chapter 2:
The man’s eyebrows and eyes were sharp; below his wolfish eyes was a high bridge of his nose and his thin lips were pursed in a grimace. Although he was sitting in a wheelchair, he had an aggressive and intimidating aura, which made it difficult to approach him.
So this is the supposedly ugly-looking man?
Charlotte was a little stunned and, only when the atmosphere became tense, did she get out of bed, avoiding his eyes. Then she said guiltily, “Of course I’m Christina Wilson…”
“Heh.” Kennedy’s eyes grew colder as she took an envelope out of her pocket and threw it in front of Charlotte.
She took it carefully and opened it, only to discover that it was full of photos and information about her sister, Christina Wilson.
So he knew my real identity all along?

Charlotte squeezed the envelope a little before biting her lower lip. Then she looked at Kennedy calmly with her black, glittering, impenetrable eyes.
“Did the Wilson family think they could cheat me just because I’m crippled?”
Charlotte lowered her eyes and defended herself softly: “I’m also the daughter of the Wilson family…”
“The daughter who just got divorced? The Wilson family uses the Moore family as a recycling station?” Kennedy’s eyes turned cold again.
His sarcastic and direct words reminded her of the terrifying night a month ago. She bit her lower lip hard, trying to use the pain to remind herself not to lose control.
Before she could calm down, however, the man once again attacked coldly: “I’ll give you five minutes to leave the Moore residence.”
“What?” Charlotte looked up and her eyes met his, black as jet.
If she was kicked out, the Moore family would surely hold a grudge against the Wilson family. Her whole family depended on her, so even if she was reluctant to stay, she couldn’t stand by and watch the Wilson family ruin themselves because of her.
After calming down, Charlotte plucked up the courage to look directly at him and said, “I know this marriage was arranged by your parents. You don’t care who you marry. Otherwise, you wouldn’t have agreed to this marriage. Instead of remarrying, you should let me stay. I promise I won’t interfere in your life”.
As soon as she said this, Charlotte raised her hands in reassurance. Her eyes were full of determination, but caution was evident on her face, as if she was afraid that he wouldn’t accept her proposal.
She seems…
Kennedy narrowed his eyes as he looked at her.
Finally, he curved his thin lips into a smile. “Do you really want to stay?” Charlotte looked at his smile and her instinct told her that something wasn’t right, but she still nodded in response.
The corner of Kennedy’s lips curved up even more disdainfully. It wasn’t the first time she’d come across greedy women like her, ready to replace their sisters and marry into the Moore family in the hope of prosperity and wealth.
Her gaze was fixed on the person on the bed when she said, “I’ll give you a chance to stay…”
As soon as the light of joy shone in Charlotte’s eyes, she heard the wicked man finish his sentence. “- But first you have to please me.”
Stunned, Charlotte looked at the man beside the bed incredulously.
“What’s the matter, can’t you understand my words?” Kennedy sneered, “Don’t tell me that a divorced woman doesn’t know how to please a man.” Hearing what he said, Charlotte clenched her fists tightly.
In fact, she had been married to Aldrich for two years, but he always used the excuse that he was busy to avoid sleeping with her. Then, one night a month ago, she caught Aldrich and a beautiful pregnant woman playing in their marital bedroom.
Her nightmares began from that moment on….
“Speak!” Her silence obviously made Kennedy lose patience. He then reached out to pull away the quilt she was holding in front of her, revealing the woman’s beautiful body….
“Ah!”
Panicked, Charlotte grabbed the quilt to cover her body before curling up as if someone was intimidating her.
Although Kennedy only caught a glimpse of her seductive beauty, her eyes darkened a little and her cold voice sounded hoarse as she began to fill with lust. Then he laughed: “You’re terrible at playing innocent.” With an icy stare, she continued: “If you can’t please me, get out of here!” With that, he pushed the wheelchair away and turned around.
“Wait a minute!”
Looking at Kennedy’s indifferent and merciless back, Charlotte was so anxious that she got out of bed still wrapped in a comforter.
Then she shouted at her back: “You can’t do this anyway, so why torture me like this? Isn’t it better if we live in peace? Besides, it will save you the trouble of getting married again.”
His words brought Kennedy to a halt along with his wheelchair.
His body remained still, but his head turned slightly. Then he gave her a stern look out of the corners of his eyes as his devilish voice declared: “Who says I can’t do it?”
Kennedy’s eyes were as dangerous as a sleeping beast on a dark night.
He looked as if he would immediately strike out to kill her if she said another word.
What was going on?
How could this clearly incapacitated man be emanating such a strong aura?
Kennedy had already adjusted the direction of the wheelchair and was slowly approaching her, his eyes as dark as the night.
Seeing this, Charlotte, who was wrapped in a comforter, unconsciously took two steps back.
Before long, he, who was sitting in a wheelchair, arrived in front of her. He then quickly raised one hand and grabbed her thin, white wrist, while pulling the comforter away from her body with the other hand.
“Ah!” Charlotte immediately fell into his lap.
“What did you say just now?” said Kennedy through his cold lips, his attentive eyes fixed on her.
“There are rumors that you’re impotent…” Panicked, Charlotte tried to cover her body as she said with a flushed face: “Let me go!”
His sudden approach panicked her, as his warm, masculine aura surrounded her.
How vigorous, dominating and dangerous!
This sensation… reminded Charlotte of the man in the car at the time. The aura of his body was just as oppressive as that of the person in front of her.
Charlotte’s face turned pale, she would never forget that shameful night.
A month ago, after witnessing her husband’s betrayal, she was wandering dejectedly through the streets when she was suddenly picked up and dragged into a car by a man. After that, everything spiraled out of control.
She struggled and screamed, but all her resistance was useless under those hot, gigantic palms.
They used and abused her as if she were a rag doll.
Just like that, they stole her first time that desperate night. And the worst thing was that she never even saw who that man was….
“So you’re going to do everything you can to become my wife, are you?”
The man’s voice next to her ear brought her back to reality, her body immediately stiffening as his masculinity pressed against her with excitement.
She had been through such a traumatic event only a month ago, so how could she not know what it was all about?
Suddenly, Charlotte’s forehead was drenched in sweat. Covering her chest with one hand while pushing against him with the other, she said, “Let me go first.” Your current state of lust is very dangerous!
“Heh.” Kennedy teased, “Why are you so nervous, is this your first time?”
Charlotte looked at him stubbornly and said, “Don’t push me to the limit!”
“For the last time, you can only stay if you please me.”
All the color drained from Charlotte’s face and her lips trembled.
Staring into his determined eyes, Charlotte strengthened herself and tried to shake off the feeling of shame at revealing her whole body in front of the man. Then she reached out with trembling hands and began to unbutton his shirt.
First button, second button…
Suddenly, a wave of nausea swept over her.
“No!” Charlotte vomited uncontrollably.
Then she felt a sudden pain in her jaw; he was gripping her chin with one hand, a deadly aura emanating from his body. “Am I really that disgusting?”
“It’s not that…” Perhaps due to the pain or her anxiety, Charlotte had already started crying.
I’ve come this far, I can’t fail now! I have to be able to stay at the Moore residence.
“I was just… argh!”
Before she could explain herself, Kennedy shoved her: “I’m even more disgusted by sluts like you who play the innocent!”
Without looking at Charlotte, who had fallen to the ground, Kennedy turned and walked away.
Seeing that he had gone, Charlotte bit her lower lip slightly.
He didn’t ask me to leave the Moore house, so that means I can stay, right?
Once again, she wrapped herself in the comforter and went back to bed. When she saw that no one had chased her after more than ten minutes, she was relieved. It looked like she’d made it.
