Chapter 199:
He… He saw her!
She felt embarrassed.
“Since you think I’m childish, why do you still think I’m seducing you? Get off.” Charlottes pushed her heavy body and thought about how she climbed onto the bed.
Thinking about this, Charlotte looked at this man on her body with wide eyes.
“You can get on the bed by yourself. Why…”
Kennedy flashed a wry smile, “What, I can go to bed by myself, and I have to do it by myself?”
Yes, he could go to bed by himself, plus he could fool her that he couldn’t do it.
But he was very agile. He didn’t look handicapped.
Charlotte had doubts in her heart and fixed her eyes on his leg.
“You think I can’t learn that since I’ve been handicapped for years?”
Charlotte was stunned as he was reasonable. A disabled person would surely learn some skills. She shouldn’t be suspicious of him.
Thanks to her legs, Charlotte had forgotten she was in danger. When she realized, Kennedy was still on her body.
“Kennedy, let go, I’m going down.” She tried to push him away, Kennedy flashed a smile, “You can’t. Sleep here. If you dare have any other ideas, I don’t mind continuing what we didn’t finish last night.”
Kennedy’s lips moved to his ear and he bit his ear.
“You know I’m not a gentleman.”
His hot breath made Charlotte shiver. She shrugged her neck and knew what he meant.
She still remembered what happened the night before and that he gave in at the end.
Kennedy rolled over and lay down beside her, facing her.
In the dim light, they lay face to face, their breath entwined.
Charlotte blinked and her heart beat faster. She shifted and wanted to turn her body quietly, but she didn’t have her strength under control. Besides, they were close to each other. As she moved, her lips touched Kennedy’s lips.
She looked at Kennedy stunned and didn’t dare breathe. What was she doing?
She was stunned for five seconds. Charlotte then wanted to pull back in panic.
But as she was about to pull back, Kennedy, who was calm, suddenly grabbed the back of her neck and kissed her.
Charlotte was startled and reached up to put her hands against his chest. She looked up at Kennedy with wide eyes.
The deep, husky voice came from the gap between their mouths.
“You’ve taken the initiative.”
“I…”
At that moment, the phone suddenly rang and interrupted them.
Charlotte sobered and discovered she was making out with Kennedy. She wanted to escape in surprise. Kennedy didn’t seem to hear the phone.
“Kennedy…” Charlotte was afraid and wanted to avoid him.
“Your phone rang.”
Kennedy made no move.
Charlotte was not calm, “Kennedy!”
“Leave it.” She said quietly.
With that, Kennedy answered no more. Charlotte was anxious. The phone rang again and she said, “Your phone keeps ringing. It might be something urgent.” She sobered up completely. She had no idea what had happened when she was in a daze.
The phone kept ringing as if there was something important.
Kennedy cursed under her breath, picked it up and picked it up with an expression of circumstance.
“Mr. Kennedy, something wrong.”
Kennedy shot a glance at Charlotte, pursed her lips and said in a cold voice, “This had better be something important, or…”
Before she could finish her words, her expression changed and she narrowed her eyes, “Really?”
Then Kennedy hung up the phone. She looked like she wanted to get out of bed, then she realized something and looked at Charlotte with a complicated look. He pinched her chin and gave her a hard kiss on the lips, “Wait for me.” Then he picked up the quilt and covered her.
Charlotte was stunned and didn’t know what had happened.
When she came to, Kennedy had already left the room. His strong masculine breath still hung in the air. She lay down under the comforter and thought about what had just happened.
It must be that Nathan had called him for something important.
Otherwise Kennedy wouldn’t be leaving with a somber face.
Charlotte was curious, wondering if it had something to do with the person she had been looking for. He seemed to be looking for someone, but she didn’t know who he was looking for.
She turned around and felt annoyed at the thought that he might be looking for a woman.
Kennedy had been indifferent and unconcerned about others. He seemed to be blind to women. Since she made him so nervous, she must be someone important.
Charlotte grabbed the comforter and found the glow of envy burning her.
Why, Charlotte, do you think you’re qualified to have this emotion?
He’s looking for someone important to him. And you’re nothing .
