Chapter 872:
Herbert raised an eyebrow and said, “Then don’t go today.”
“That won’t do. I have an appointment with a client,” I replied.
“Then I’ll take you to work. How about that?” Herbert said with a smile.
I pouted and nodded.
“Okay, give me a ride.”
I quickly got out of bed, put on my clothes, and fixed my hair. By the time I was ready, it was already 10 o’clock. As I stepped outside with Herbert, I suddenly looked at him carefully. Herbert, noticing, seemed a little alarmed. He looked down at himself and asked, “What are you looking at?”
I smirked and said, “I think you should see a doctor.”
“I’m healthy. What’s wrong with me?” Herbert laughed.
“I feel like something’s off with you,” I said as I stepped out of the villa. Just then, Connor was waiting outside. When he saw us, he stepped forward and opened the rear door of the car. I got in first, followed by Herbert. As Connor turned the car around, Herbert whispered in my ear, “I’m not abnormal. It’s just that your physical strength isn’t great. When you meet someone you like, not only does your mind go out of control, but sometimes, even your desires get the better of you.”
Bella’s POV:
“Where on earth are we going for our honeymoon? Have you decided yet?”

Herbert’s fingers gently brushed against mine, and the intimacy between us was palpable.
Every time he was this tender, I couldn’t stay angry for long.
I returned to my usual tone.
“I want to go to New York.”
Hearing this, Herbert frowned slightly but smiled.
“New York is a great place, but not many people choose it for a honeymoon. Most prefer destinations like the Maldives, Bali, Paris, or Greece.”
“I just want to go to New York. What do you think?” I looked up at him with a smile.
Herbert patted the back of my hand and immediately agreed, “Well, since you want to go, then New York it is!”
Seeing his agreement, I smiled and leaned my head on his shoulder.
At that moment, Herbert looked at me gently and said, “The wedding dress will be delivered by air from Italy next week. We’ll take some time to take our wedding photos then.”
“And after that, we’ll live happily together, never to be separated again,” I added.
Herbert chuckled.
“Okay!”
I smiled and held his hand tightly. In that moment, I felt an overwhelming sense of happiness.
As soon as I stepped into the office, Joey rushed up to me.
“You’re finally here! I called you, but you didn’t answer. I thought something had happened. I was about to call Herbert.”
I pulled out my phone and realized it was on silent. Herbert must have muted it to avoid interruptions during our time together.
