“I just fell. My face hit a stone, and it became like this. One of my teeth broke. No, I need to go to the hospital. Help me ask Jessica for leave. I’m not slacking off; I’m really injured this time!”

Selina’s voice came from inside. I pushed the door open and walked in. I approached her desk and said, “Jessica, William has already signed. This is our document.”
I placed the document in front of Selina.

I felt a surge of anger.
“The task you gave me has been completed. I’ve handed over my work to you. If there’s nothing else, I’ll be leaving now.”
I turned and left Selina’s office.As soon as the door closed, I angrily threw the document in my hand onto the floor. This morning, when I arrived at work, I was immediately called into my superior Linda’s office. I remembered Linda had repeatedly mentioned that there was a big shot involved in this matter.
