“Do you mean… you’ve agreed to date me?” Jeremy said excitedly, his eyes revealing a wretched look.
I took a step back and said, “Even if you’re the last man on Earth, I still won’t date you.”
Jeremy was stunned for a moment, then he scowled, “You damn bitch, you deliberately fooled me!”
After a second, he pointed at my nose and yelled, “Damn you, how dare you play with me! I won’t let you go!”
“You’re the one with bad intentions! And you’re really a disgusting man,” I said, turning to walk away.
The next second, bump! The coffee cup in my hand was knocked to the ground. When the porcelain cup hit the hard floor tiles, it shattered into more than a dozen pieces. Brown liquid splashed everywhere, and the sight was disgusting.
“What are you doing?”
After a brief moment of shock, I glared at Jeremy. Just then, several women from the office got up and came over, likely hearing the noise from the break room. Jeremy suddenly pointed at me and said, “Bella, although I can’t say I’m a good person, I’m not as dirty as you think. Look at yourself. Do you think you can seduce me just by lifting your skirt? Bah!”
Then he spat at me.
Jeremy was more shameless than I thought. It was clear he was the one who had harassed me, but now he was accusing me of seducing him.
None of the female colleagues around helped me. They all treated the situation like a joke, and some even snickered.
“You’re the one who tried to seduce me first! Are you slandering me just because I rejected you? You’re not only an irresponsible scumbag, but also a piece of trash without any moral compass.”
I turned to leave.
Jeremy reacted quickly, stepping forward as if he wanted to hit me.
“You bitch, explain yourself! How dare you scold me!”
I glared at him and replied, “So what if I scold you? You’re trash! Absolute trash!”
Jeremy sneered, “You’re just a slut! Don’t think I don’t know your secrets. You sleep with anyone for money, but I don’t want you. I think you’re dirty!”
He continued to insult me with vicious words, and I was furious. Without thinking, I walked over, wanting to slap him.
The cup and kettle had been knocked over onto the floor, and several female colleagues rushed over, probably trying to stop the situation from escalating.
But Jeremy, fearing things might get out of hand, turned to leave. I didn’t care anymore. I rushed forward and scratched his face with my sharp nails, leaving two red blood streaks.
At this point, I had already accepted that I wouldn’t be made a permanent employee, and I wasn’t willing to keep enduring this. Jeremy had gone too far, and I needed to vent my anger.
