Chapter 340:
“Emilia! Emilia!”
The owner of the travel agency was frantically looking for Emilia.
Hearing the voice, I quickly said to the boss, “Boss, Emilia went to the bathroom. She seems to have diarrhea.”
The boss frowned.
“The tour bus has arrived. Thirty tourists are waiting for her!”
If the bus was delayed, the entire itinerary would be disrupted. I quickly said, “I’ll go to the bathroom and find her.”
I entered the bathroom, knocked on the stall door, and called out, “Emilia, are you feeling better? The boss is in a hurry. All the tourists are waiting.”
I could hear Emilia weeping from inside the stall.
“Bella, I feel terrible. I need to go to the hospital. Hurry and tell the boss to find someone to replace me!”
“Is it that serious? I’ll tell the manager that you need to go to the hospital. Go there as soon as possible,” I said.
“Thank you, Bella,” Emilia replied.
I quickly turned around and headed out of the bathroom to find the manager.
“Where’s Emilia?” the manager asked as soon as he saw me.
“Manager, Emilia needs to go to the hospital. You’ll need to find someone to replace her,” I replied.
The manager’s tone was uneasy.
“Oh, God, what should I do? I can’t find anyone to replace her.”
“What are we going to do?” I asked, glancing at the bus outside. Tourists were already boarding and urging us to move quickly.
The manager walked back and forth, looking stressed. He then glanced at me and said, “You… you’re the one who should replace Emilia!”
“I’m not a tour guide!” I exclaimed in shock.
“I believe you can do it! You’re already familiar with this route. We’ve already coordinated with the hotel and restaurant. You just need to count the people, introduce the scenic spots, arrange their accommodations, and the driver will help you!” the manager said as he gently pushed me toward the door.
“Manager, but…”
Although I knew the route, I still felt a lot of psychological pressure. I wasn’t familiar with the responsibilities of a tour guide.
“Bella, I really have no choice. Please, help me. I’ll pay you!” The manager pleaded, not giving me a chance to refuse.
I understood that this was his last resort, so I had no choice but to agree.
“All right, I’ll do my best.”
“Thank you, thank you so much!” the manager said, visibly relieved.
Five minutes later, I had packed everything into my backpack and gotten on the bus.
I picked up the small loudspeaker, feeling a bit nervous. After all, I had no experience with this role.
“Everyone, my name is Bella. I’m your tour guide for this route, and I’ll be taking care of you over the next two days. Let’s start by calling your names one by one!” I said with a smile, trying to calm my nerves. I then picked up the list and began, “Ella, Jones…”
