Chapter 311:
“I’m sorry, I didn’t do it on purpose!”
When I heard the sound of the door slamming, I covered my hot cheeks and pushed the man on top of me.
“It’s so embarrassing!”
“Why are you so embarrassed? We’re not having an affair, we’re in a proper relationship.”
Herbert said seriously.
“I made an appointment with Joey to have dinner at my place tonight. You seduced me and I forgot all about it.”
I continued. Herbert said, “That means you like having sex with me. And you are very proactive.”
He smiled and caressed my lips.
“You are very relaxed today. I like that very much.”
“You took the initiative first.”
“Do you like it?”
Herbert asked, smiling into my ear. My face grew hot, but I was not pretentious. I generously admitted, “It’s a very special experience. I like it.”
After I had said this, he continued to poke me a few times. Only then did I realise that he had not come out of my body. He was holding my hands on either side of the pillow and his eyes were filled with the light of conquest. He gasped and said, “Let’s continue!”
Oh my God, I loved his superior look on the bed.
“…”
I opened my mouth to say something. Herbert didn’t give me the chance. Instead he sealed my lips and began to pound my body hard… It was already an hour later when we were finished. There was only one light on in the room. I lay tired in his arms, ready to sleep. But at that moment, his finger slid along my shoulder to my finger, and the ring finger of his left hand was suddenly covered with something cold.
“What are you doing?” I asked, frowning.
“Look.”
He kissed my cheek and spoke. I opened my eyes and raised my left hand. A shining object rested on my finger.
It was a ring.
To be precise, it was a luxurious ring.
The diamond was enormous, surrounded by countless smaller diamonds that shimmered under the dim light. I had seen rings like this before, but only in magazines—worn by celebrities and the wives of the wealthy.
I stared at the massive diamond ring on my hand for a long time before finally managing to speak.
“Is this…?”
Herbert reached out and gently took my left hand. In a calm, indifferent voice, he said, “We need rings for the wedding, so I asked Connor to order one for us.”
“This ring is too extravagant. How much did it cost?”
I continued to examine the ring, feeling its weight against my finger. At that moment, Herbert suddenly spoke in a tone tinged with guilt.
