A Demonial Destiny: The Alpha Triplets - Chapter 66

Chapter 66:

Sad and scared, I sniffed as tears struggled to fall from my eyes. It seemed I had exhausted all my tears.

The air in the car was so tense it made my nose block. I sniffed, trying to relieve the pressure, but an angry growl sent fear coursing through me. My trembling hands dropped to the seat as I looked away silently.

Soon, tiredness hit me like a bulldozer. I yawned, stretching myself before curling up again.

Numbness and weakness consumed me as I drifted deeper into my thoughts.

“Once you’re in, there is no backing out.”

I wasn’t sure if I had imagined his words or if he had truly spoken them, but they echoed in my mind like a cruel reminder.

Afraid to meet his gaze, I kept staring into the void, lost in my own despair.

He was right. I was trapped with the Alpha King—forever.

A profound emptiness spread through me, hollow and unrelenting, threatening to swallow me whole.

But I didn’t fight it.

There was nothing left to fight for.

My life had already been taken from me.

It felt as if cold, unyielding metal had wrapped around my heart, squeezing tighter with every passing second.

I couldn’t stop thinking about my parents.

How were they coping without me?

Especially my mother—was she beside herself, acting as if she had lost her mind?

The thought of our separation only deepened the ache in my chest, widening the hollow space inside me.

I never realized how painful leaving them would be.

And the cruelest part of it all?

I would never see them again… unless the Alpha King allowed it.

But I knew better.

I was no longer my own. He had bought me in exchange for my pack’s safety, and a man like King Damon didn’t grant favors.

He was impossible to please. His reputation alone sent shivers down the spines of all who knew his name.

Getting his permission to visit my parents?

That was like expecting an arthritis-ridden man to run a marathon.

It was a foolish dream.

And yet, my heart pounded against my ribs as I desperately searched for ways to make it happen.

Even if it was just for thirty minutes.

An hour.

A demonial destiny the alpha triples – Sneak Peek Aurora I let out a weary sigh as my eyes met the enormous clock on the wall. It was past 1 a.m. Yesterday’s chores had been endless. Despite starting early, long before anyone else was awake, I had worked nonstop until the next day, with no breaks. Nathalia, the Alpha’s daughter, had been pleased to see me buried in work. She rejected anyone’s attempt to assist me and punished them severely—just like she always did. Her cruelty kept people away from me, their fear of her harsh punishments outweighing any sympathy they might have had.
