Chapter 325:
Her eyes were red and swollen, her face pale.
I knew then that this was serious. Alex wasn’t the type to cry over trivial matters.
“I came here to confess, my King,” she declared, making my brows shoot up.
“About what?” I asked, irritation creeping into my tone.
I hated that she was ruining my mood and my plans for Aurora.
“It’s about Aurora,” she replied softly.
Silence settled between us as her shaky fingers gripped the hem of her dress tightly.
Speak of the devil.
I sat up, sensing the shift in the atmosphere.
Leaning forward on my desk, I urged her to speak as her words piqued my interest.
She burst into tears again, and irritation flooded through my body.
“Will you speak or get out of my office? I have better things to do than listen to your annoying crocodile tears!” I roared, slamming my fist against the table. The impact made her jump in fear.
“I’m sorry, my King. I just came here to expose the truth. The baby was yours. Rosa framed her. She wasn’t cheating on you,” Alex blurted out in a rush.
Arching a brow, I watched her closely, confusion swirling in my mind.
“Make it clear to me. Who are you talking about?”
My heart pounded violently against my ribs as a name echoed in my head.
I hoped I was wrong.
“Aurora. All this time, she was innocent. I have evidence to prove it.”

My hand shot out almost immediately as I impatiently strode toward her.
“Let me see it. But if your so-called evidence isn’t solid enough, you will be prosecuted for slandering the mistress. And I won’t hesitate to kill you,” I threatened.
Her knees wobbled as she nearly collapsed in fear.
“I swear, my King, I am telling the truth,” she trembled.
With shaky hands, she reached into the pocket of her long flared gown and pulled something out.
Without a word, she placed a voice recorder and a camera in my hands, urging me to see for myself.
Carefully, I played the voice recording before checking the pictures on the camera one by one—each revelation making my blood boil.
I almost lost it.
“Rosa has always been jealous of Aurora since the first day she stepped into the castle,” Alex revealed, her voice barely above a whisper. “Especially when she learned that Aurora was yours.”
“She plotted with Ray to frame her so she would be cast out.”
“She wanted all the attention on her, not Aurora. Day and night, Rosa plotted ways to become Luna.”
“Seeing that Aurora became pregnant while she couldn’t—because her womb is weak—she set Aurora up. She worked hand in hand with Ray, with whom she frequently had sex and paid heavily by stealing your money. She drugged Aurora and had Ray lay naked beside her so that you would believe they were having an affair.”
She sniffed before lowering her head.
