A Demonial Destiny: The Alpha Triplets - Chapter 314

Chapter 314:

Ray coughed weakly as particles of sand irritated his nose. He sighed in relief when he noticed the men stepping back.

Questions swirled in his mind, fueling his urge to see who was speaking, but the thick darkness revealed nothing.

A powerful aura and the heavy scent of tobacco filled the air, forcing him into submission. Ray knew he was in the presence of someone formidable.

“Help,” he tried to scream, but his voice came out as a faint whisper.

Summoning the last of his strength, he attempted to rise to his knees, but his legs gave way, and he collapsed back to the ground.

A burst of hysterical laughter pierced his ears, making him cringe.

“Save your strength, boy. No one will hear you,” the voice said mockingly. “Do you want tobacco?”

“No,” Ray whispered, his voice barely audible.

“Brandy?”

“Release me. I want to go home. Who are you people? What do you want from me?” Ray asked, his voice breathless with fear as anxiety surged through him, making his body tremble.

“I want you to work for me,” the man said, his voice dripping with menace as he emphasized each word.

“What do you want me to do?” Ray stammered, his heart racing.

“Kill Rosa, and I will help you become whatever you want.”

The words hung in the air, heavy and chilling, as Ray’s mind reeled from the demand.

Aurora

Jolting back to consciousness, I found myself smiling sheepishly. A sense of peace, like a gentle river, flooded my mind as calmness washed over me. For the first time in a long while, I felt at ease with myself—all thanks to the dream.

It was strange how this dream had filled me with an unexplainable tranquility, unlike the usual nightmares that left me trembling with fear. My gaze dropped to my tightly clenched hand, as if I had been holding onto something. A soft smile curled on my lips as I remembered tossing rocks across the river, just like Ivy and Adrian had taught me.

Speaking of Ivy and Adrian, I longed to see them again. My smile faded, replaced by a frown as my thoughts turned somber. The triplets must have endured hell when they lost their mate, especially considering how perfect Ivy had been.

Deep down, I wished I could be like her, but I had to face the reality that I couldn’t be someone else. I am Aurora, and that’s all I can ever be.

Within seconds, boredom began to creep in. I adjusted the pillows and lay back down, but sleep eluded me, leaving me frustrated and restless.

With nothing else to do, I adjusted the skimpy red lace nightgown I was wearing and stepped out of my room.

“Fuck,” I cursed under my breath as my fingers brushed against my bare skin, realizing I wasn’t wearing any panties. I paused, glancing back at my room.

Groaning inwardly, I decided to continue walking, letting my legs lead me wherever they pleased. I was too tired to go back just for underwear.

I hadn’t gone far when the kitchen came into view. “Perfect,” I mumbled, feeling a spark of excitement as images of various drinks flashed through my mind.

A demonial destiny the alpha triples – Sneak Peek Aurora I let out a weary sigh as my eyes met the enormous clock on the wall. It was past 1 a.m. Yesterday’s chores had been endless. Despite starting early, long before anyone else was awake, I had worked nonstop until the next day, with no breaks. Nathalia, the Alpha’s daughter, had been pleased to see me buried in work. She rejected anyone’s attempt to assist me and punished them severely—just like she always did. Her cruelty kept people away from me, their fear of her harsh punishments outweighing any sympathy they might have had.
