A Demonial Destiny: The Alpha Triplets - Chapter 244

Chapter 244:

“What? No!” I half-yelled, walking toward the bed and scolding myself inwardly for letting my emotions show.

“I hate it when you lie to me,” he said, his voice tight with frustration as he grabbed my arm. His angry eyes locked onto mine, and I could feel the intensity of his gaze.

“Maybe I am,” I whispered, feeling my throat tighten. “I’m sorry, I just can’t help it…” The rest of my words caught in my throat as tears threatened to spill.

Devin’s angry expression softened as he pulled me closer, gently rubbing my hair. “Don’t worry, doll, we won’t leave you,” he reassured me, though my tears made it hard to believe him.

“Easier said than done,” I muttered, still struggling with my emotions. Who would leave a palace for a cottage?

He pulled back slightly, taking his hands off me, his brow furrowing. “What do you mean?”

“You’re saying that to make me feel better. But I know the truth. I know you will choose him over me, especially if you find out that you’re related,” I said, the bitterness in my voice hard to ignore.

I swallowed hard, trying to push down the feeling in my chest.

“And if that’s the case,” I continued, “I know it’s over between us.”

“You can’t say that yet. We don’t even know him,” Dax said, trying to ease my tension. “You can’t just judge based on resemblance. People can look alike without being related. Don’t take this too far. It might just be a coincidence.”

I shook my head firmly. “I don’t think so. Look, Devin—”

“Dax. My name is Dax,” he corrected me gently.

“Oh,” I muttered, scratching my head in confusion. “How do I tell you guys apart?”

“Our hair,” Dax said with a grin. “I keep mine messy, while Devin likes a quiff.”

“That’s it?” I smiled, nodding as I committed their differences to memory.

Devin’s face was sharper than Dax’s, and he was more muscular. But Damon… Damon was the sexiest of them all.

That bastard. I couldn’t stop thinking about him.

The more I stared into the brothers’ eyes, the more I felt like I could see Damon.

“Can you tell us about this Damon?” Devin asked, his curiosity piqued.

“Sure,” I replied, clearing my dry throat. “He’s the king of all Alphas.”

“He’s an Alpha King,” Devin clarified.

“Yes,” I confirmed, the weight of the words sinking in.

Devin’s eyes moved around the ceiling as he spoke. “How did you guys meet? No offense, but you seem a bit out of place. You seem like an Omega, but at the same time, you have a powerful scent. It’s confusing. Are you an Alpha? Is one of your parents an Alpha?”

I sighed, feeling a deep sadness wash over me as memories of my parents resurfaced. They had been buried ever since I became the Alpha King’s property.

“My parents were Alphas. My father was the Alpha of the Diamond Heart pack,” I replied softly, my gaze fixed on the twinkling stars outside the window.

“Why are you here? What’s your story?” They asked in unison, looking at me with confusion in their eyes.

A demonial destiny the alpha triples – Sneak Peek Aurora I let out a weary sigh as my eyes met the enormous clock on the wall. It was past 1 a.m. Yesterday’s chores had been endless. Despite starting early, long before anyone else was awake, I had worked nonstop until the next day, with no breaks. Nathalia, the Alpha’s daughter, had been pleased to see me buried in work. She rejected anyone’s attempt to assist me and punished them severely—just like she always did. Her cruelty kept people away from me, their fear of her harsh punishments outweighing any sympathy they might have had.
