A Demonial Destiny: The Alpha Triplets - Chapter 235

Chapter 235:

It didn’t take long before regret began to drown her. She shouldn’t have stayed at Silas’ place until evening. She shouldn’t have taken the fastest route to the castle. The darkness of the night felt eerie and suffocating.

But there was no turning back now. The route was the only one she could take if she wanted to keep her identity concealed. The guards at the gate had been silenced with bribes, leaving her with no other choice.

Rosa clutched her bag tightly on her shoulder and quickened her steps. She had never been this terrified in her life. The loud pounding of her heart and the rhythm of her footsteps were the only sounds that filled the air.

She longed for the warmth and safety of her room. She just wanted this to be over.

A gasp tore from her lips when she heard a rustling in the bush. “It’s just a rodent, nothing more,” she whispered to herself, trying to suppress the fear rising in her chest.

But the sounds grew louder, forcing her to quicken her pace. She regretted not taking guards with her, but at the same time, she didn’t want to expose herself.

Just as she was about to dash into the racetrack ahead, she was suddenly ambushed by a figure.

Before she could process what was happening, her mouth was covered, and she was dragged into a shabby house.

Alarmed, Rosa kicked and struggled to free herself from the stranger’s grasp, fighting with all her might, but her strength was no match. Exhausted, she weakened, tears streaming down her face at the thought of being captured by a rogue hunter. She shut her eyes, preparing for the worst.

It didn’t take long before she was freed from his grip and slammed against the wall. The impact sent a spike of pain through her head.

Wincing, she dropped to her feet, massaging her aching head.

“My bad. I shouldn’t have rough-handled the mistress,” a voice sneered, mockery dripping from every word.

“Ray?!” Rosa gasped, her voice trembling with hurt and shock as she stared at him. Ray continued laughing, unconcerned.

Fury surged within her. She wanted to tear his face off, sink her claws into his skin.

“You bastard!” she spat, panting heavily. “How dare you touch me with your filthy hands?”

Ray’s smirk deepened. “That’s why I said I shouldn’t have rough-handled you, but I couldn’t help it.” His eyes roamed over her body, finally resting on her cleavage.

Rosa felt a wave of discomfort as his gaze undressed her. She quickly adjusted her clothes, covering herself.

“Don’t play games with me. And don’t ever repeat what you just did,” she warned, her finger pointed sharply at him. Her breath was ragged, her voice thick with anger.

“I’ll think about it,” he replied casually, walking in slow circles around her.

His rude behavior only fueled her anger. It was as if a volcano was building up inside her, ready to explode.

She despised how his arrogance grew after learning her secret. She would deal with him soon, but for now, there were more pressing matters to attend to.

“Don’t make me angry,” she warned, her voice steady but laced with fury. “I have the power to punish you.”

A demonial destiny the alpha triples – Sneak Peek Aurora I let out a weary sigh as my eyes met the enormous clock on the wall. It was past 1 a.m. Yesterday’s chores had been endless. Despite starting early, long before anyone else was awake, I had worked nonstop until the next day, with no breaks. Nathalia, the Alpha’s daughter, had been pleased to see me buried in work. She rejected anyone’s attempt to assist me and punished them severely—just like she always did. Her cruelty kept people away from me, their fear of her harsh punishments outweighing any sympathy they might have had.
