A Demonial Destiny: The Alpha Triplets - Chapter 23

Chapter 23:

“Eve, Nathalia, Ingrid, Aurora, Valerie, stay behind.” He released a tense breath, swallowing the bile in his throat as his chest rose and fell in anticipation.

I raised my head to see the other servants hurriedly leaving the room, likely before my father did something tragic to them.

Once the door slammed shut, he turned to give my mother a deadly look, who was still trying to compose herself.

“What just happened?” he bellowed, stepping dangerously toward her. A forced smile flashed across her face as she took a few steps back.

“I don’t understand, Alpha,” her voice came out as a whisper.

“Aurora is my daughter, and because she shares my blood, she is bound to have silver fur. I need to know why her fur isn’t mixed with black. Why is it entirely silver and not silver and black?”

“Alpha…” She tried to speak, but he cut her off.

“I’m not done yet!” he snapped, trapping her against a wall with a menacing look on his face. His hands grabbed her neck, suffocating her as he locked eyes with her.

“Don’t you dare cut me off when I’m not done talking,” he warned before releasing her from his grip while she coughed.

“I need you to explain why Nathalia’s wolf is lean with black fur, like yours, and why Aurora’s fur is huge and also bears the pack’s tattoo,” he gritted, clenching his fist tightly. “And how she has the pack’s tattoo that Nathalia was supposed to have.”

I could tell he was trying hard not to punch her in the face.

“I swear by the Moon Goddess, I don’t know what you’re talking about,” my mother’s shaky voice pleaded, hoping to convince him.

“One more lie from you and that will be the end of you this instant!” he threatened, seizing her neck again until she began to gasp for breath.

Fear gripped her as my father’s pupils turned pitch black. I had seen that look before. It only happened when he was dangerously furious.

No one wanted to see that side of him.

“You’re hiding something about the children. Beatrice said she noticed something after she left the ward that night. I swear by the Moon Goddess, if you don’t spill it, I’ll tear you limb from limb!” he growled, his eyes flashing with rage.

Without warning, my father’s claws elongated as he raised them above my mother, ready to rip her to pieces as his anger consumed him.

“Don’t kill me, I’ll confess!” she screamed, shielding her body from his claws as panic gripped her.

I let out a growl, tossing in my sleep as a knock sounded on the door.

Who the hell was that?!

I shifted to a more comfortable position and quickly drifted back to sleep, but it didn’t take long before the knock came again. Angrily, I grabbed a pillow, covering my ears and hissing loudly.

I wasn’t in the mood for anyone’s visit.

A demonial destiny the alpha triples – Sneak Peek Aurora I let out a weary sigh as my eyes met the enormous clock on the wall. It was past 1 a.m. Yesterday’s chores had been endless. Despite starting early, long before anyone else was awake, I had worked nonstop until the next day, with no breaks. Nathalia, the Alpha’s daughter, had been pleased to see me buried in work. She rejected anyone’s attempt to assist me and punished them severely—just like she always did. Her cruelty kept people away from me, their fear of her harsh punishments outweighing any sympathy they might have had.
