A Demonial Destiny: The Alpha Triplets - Chapter 140

Chapter 140:

“I’m your Beta. I’ll always be here for you. Instead of wallowing in regret, why don’t you try someone new? Who knows, she might give you the heir you’re looking for,” he advised.

My brows furrowed in confusion as I tried to process his words.

“What do you mean, Jasper?”

“Rosa failed to give you a son. According to her medical reports, her womb isn’t capable of carrying a child.”

“So…” I said, trying to hide my shock.

Damn Rosa!

“Tell Aurora to become your breeder. Who knows, she might give you an heir.”

Frozen in shock, my eyes were fixed on Jasper’s brown ones, disbelief flooding through me.

Maybe I misunderstood him.

“Don’t give me that weird look,” he groaned, rolling his eyes with a bored expression. “Wake up, My King. You need a damn heir, and you need him ASAP!” His tone held an undeniable urgency.

“They can wait for all I care,” I hissed, sinking further into the leather chair, placing my tobacco between my fingers and taking a slow puff of smoke. “I’ll give them an heir when I feel like it,” I stated. Though my words weren’t firm, they carried a hint of authority.

Jasper shook his head in disagreement. “That’s not possible. Remember those coups? They’re happening because you don’t have an heir to take over the throne. They know it will be easy to take the throne after eliminating you—”

“But they didn’t succeed, and they won’t,” I interjected.

“That’s not the point, my King!” Jasper half-screamed, frustration lacing his voice. “You are the King, and you know better than anyone that there are rules that govern this wolfdom. If you can’t bear an heir within the stipulated time, you lose your throne, and you’ll lose it horribly. Do the math.”

A cold shiver ran down my spine at the thought of his words. How hadn’t I thought of it? It was almost the stipulated time, and I hadn’t produced an heir?!

“It’s been more than four years, my King. The clock is ticking. You have to act fast,” he added, watching my expression shift.

I had to act fast. But how? Ivy was dead, and Rosa couldn’t even bear a child. I was left with no options.

“It’s been years, and you don’t have a mate. The people need their Luna and the heir to the throne. You have neither. Don’t you see? You’re sitting on a time bomb,” he said, cutting through my thoughts and making my heart race.

I was sitting on a time bomb comfortably. How foolish I’d been.

“Without your mate or heir next year, the people will see you as irresponsible. You won’t be able to keep your kingdom together, and you know the consequences. Please, my King, act fast.”

“But I don’t have a mate…” I cleared my throat, trying to hide the shakiness in my voice. “Or a second-chance mate.”

“Worry about a mate later. Right now, you need to find someone who can give you a child.” But who?

A demonial destiny the alpha triples – Sneak Peek Aurora I let out a weary sigh as my eyes met the enormous clock on the wall. It was past 1 a.m. Yesterday’s chores had been endless. Despite starting early, long before anyone else was awake, I had worked nonstop until the next day, with no breaks. Nathalia, the Alpha’s daughter, had been pleased to see me buried in work. She rejected anyone’s attempt to assist me and punished them severely—just like she always did. Her cruelty kept people away from me, their fear of her harsh punishments outweighing any sympathy they might have had.
