“And if you’d kept that bastard busy, he wouldn’t have had time to think about the bitch. Now everything’s gone to dust.” His fist clenched tightly, droplets of blood dripping down his wrist, but it didn’t matter to him.
All he cared about was claiming the throne and becoming the new Alpha King before eliminating Rosa.
But that wouldn’t happen if Rosa didn’t step up her efforts.
Starting another plot was out of the question, as his previous attempts had failed miserably.
It was a miracle he hadn’t been exposed as the leader of the coup. His followers were loyal, and he had sworn to claim the throne to avenge their blood.
Rosa was his only option—his only ticket to becoming the next King. But she wasn’t putting in enough effort.
Silas’ eyes lit up in surprise as an idea sparked in his mind. What if he could conspire with Aurora? It would be easier since Damon was closer to Aurora than Rosa.
But Aurora had a pure soul, untainted by evil. It would be difficult to convince her, as she had no grudge against Damon.
A sigh of frustration escaped Silas as the realization hit him.
He was stuck with Rosa.
“What’s this I’ve heard about those two recently?” he asked, looking away from Rosa as a new wave of anger swept through him.
“About?” Rosa replied, her eyes rolling in confusion as she tried to process Silas’ question. The delay only fueled his irritation.

“Don’t play dumb, like you don’t know that Aurora and that bastard are having sex!” Silas studied Rosa’s shocked expression before scoffing.
“Maybe you’re just too stupid to notice what’s right under your nose.”
Rosa’s face relaxed. “It’s normal for him to have sex with her. She is his property. Even if I know, there’s nothing I can do about it,” she explained, but no amount of reasoning would convince Silas.
“I want that to stop. I don’t care how you do it, but you should be the only one he fucks.”
“But he’s a King. I can’t influence his decisions,” Rosa protested.
A growl escaped Silas’ throat as he took intimidating steps toward her.
“I give you seven days. If you can’t handle this job, I’ll end you right away. But before I do, I’ll find a replacement, and then I’ll make you suffer before you take your last breath,” he threatened before turning to leave.
But Rosa quickly grabbed his hand, stopping him.
“I promise you, Uncle, give me one more chance. This time, no one will save her. She will die a slow and miserable death,” she vowed, stressing every word.
A dark smile curled on her lips as an idea flashed through her mind.
If she couldn’t do it, the doctor would.
