Chapter 12:
Anger rose in my chest as the bastard’s voice echoed in my head. The mockery in his tone provoked me further. I would prove to him that I could father children.
I was hurting Rosa, but I didn’t care. I would prove to the bastard that I could have an heir and put an end to this madness. Like an animal, I claimed her, bending her in unimaginable ways as I kept giving her deep, relentless strokes.
“Fuck!” I groaned as I felt my release nearing. I pulled out immediately, replacing my cock with my fingers.
I felt a pang of guilt the instant horror filled her eyes as she quickly bent over to pick up the broken dishes. The air in the room grew tense, and all attention focused on us. She was in deep trouble. I knew it.
“Take care of it,” I ordered another maid, who jumped to the task without hesitation.
I lifted her, moving her away from the glass so it wouldn’t prick her, but she withdrew her hands from mine immediately, leaving my hands feeling empty. Her hands were so soft, I almost let out a purr.
Confusion hit me when her eyes widened in shock, and she moved away from me, running without looking back. Strange sparks flooded me again, sending shivers down my spine.
Why do I feel so strangely drawn to her? Why did she behave like that?
I adjusted quickly, walking into the hall as if nothing had happened, but I didn’t miss the look my Beta shot me. I was as surprised as he was.
“I want to know everything about that girl. Start your investigations now!” I mind-linked Jasper, ignoring his questions.
Aurora
I didn’t know which terrified me more: breaking the Alpha’s favorite set of dishes or breaking the dishes on the Alpha King’s body.

Both punishments would be hell, but I would prefer Nathalia’s punishment to that of the Alpha King.
My mind went blank, and my heart leapt to my chest as the dishes crashed loudly on the floor, shattering immediately. I was dead meat.
I quickly bent over, trying to collect the broken pieces, ignoring the cuts that pierced my fingers.
But then a deadly aura hit my nose, awakening all of my senses.
Panic seized me as the realization of what I had done set in. I couldn’t think of anything else but running for my life. I didn’t want him to kill me in the most unimaginable way.
Rumors had it that he could gouge out your eyes if you looked at him the wrong way. He could cut your tongue if you spoke without permission. Worst of all, he could cut your ears if you listened to things you weren’t supposed to.
He was a savage wild beast, a ruthless Alpha King who had ruled over the werewolves for years. His name sent a chill down your spine—not the kind that gives you butterflies in your stomach, but the kind that makes you feel terrified.
His castle sat high in the hills, far from the boundaries of other packs.
He had been a terror to both men and wolves for decades. He wasn’t called the Demon Alpha King for nothing. He was the most cruel and merciless King. No one dared mess with him, or he’d tear them limb from limb and send them to hell afterwards.
He had been given many names because of his ruthlessness, but he was the worst thing that could happen to anyone. To his enemies, he was their nemesis, their worst nightmare.
