“Really?” Yanis brightened up, “Thank you, Mr. Manfred.”
“But…” Manfred glared at Yanis, “If it’s so simple, why did Charlotte refuse my help?”
Yanis was embarrassed, but could not reveal it. He said, “She thought you had helped her a lot and had told me about that three hundred thousand. Mr. Manfred, she will remember your help and remind herself that it belongs to you, so she doesn’t want me to help her. I can understand her.”

As Yanis left, Manfred tapped the desk with his slender fingers. He was thinking, staring at the two bowls of noodles.

Charlotte took a cab to Villa H. Soon after arriving, Rebecca told her that Yanis had approached her, “Miss Moore, didn’t you go out with Yanis? Why…”
To keep Rebecca from thinking too much, Charlotte told her, “Maybe she forgot something, bring her here.”
Rebecca took Yanis to her and left. There was silence in the hose. Charlotte had calmed down on her way home. Yanis held her arm, “Charlotte, are you still mad at me? It’s been fixed, don’t be mad, okay?”
“It’s been fixed?” Charlotte sketched a bitter smile, “So, have you told him?”.
Yanis turned pale and explained, “Don’t get me wrong. I made up a story. He doesn’t know.”
“Are you stupid? No matter how you make up the story, it wouldn’t change the outcome.”
“But…”
“You think he’s a fool? He won’t believe you, he’s smart and could guess what happened.”
Hearing that, Yanis widened his eyes, “I don’t think so. He wouldn’t think of that. He’s Kennedy’s brother, he wouldn’t have that thought.”
“You can check.” Charlotte shot a look at Yanis and sighed, “What kind of person do you think Manfred is? He’s not as simple as you think.”
He had disguised himself too well. The outsiders didn’t know what kind of person he was, and Charlotte knew they were at odds over Reynold’s words. From what Manfred had told her earlier, she knew Manfred wasn’t as nice as he appeared. He was not straightforward. She must have sensed something from Yanis’ words and would definitely check it out.
“Am I wrong about him?” Yanis lowered his head and muttered, “Maybe I don’t know what kind of person he is. But I’m right about his looks. I know he won’t hurt you.”
Charlotte sketched a faint smile, “Never mind, I have nothing to say.”
“Are you angry? Charlotte, I did it for you.”
Looking at Yanis, Charlotte felt helpless. Yanis did it for her own good. Although he tried his best to stop her, but it came out with the same result.
“It’s happened and there’s nothing to be angry about.” Charlotte said in a soft voice.
She wasn’t angry, but it scared Yanis. Yanis took her hand, “Charlotte…”
“It’s getting late, come back.”
Yanis, “…”
“I’ll come see you tomorrow.” Yanis was glad to hear that, smiling, “You’ll come see me, you’re not mad at me?”
Charlotte said, “I’m upset. I knew you had done it for me. I’ll ask Sebastian to take you back.”
Charlotte asked Rebecca to take Yanis to Sebastian. Before leaving, Yanis hugged Charlotte and asked her to go with her as promised.
After Yanis left, Charlotte looked at the night scene. There would be no calm anymore.
Even if Yanis would not come to Manfred, he would come to her.

Manfred gave Yanis news the next day. He asked them to meet in the evening.
