Chapter 886:
“You…” Connie was left speechless.
At that moment, another person appeared in the crowd. I immediately recognized the man as William’s father, Daniel Morgan. Connie stepped forward and grabbed his arm.
“Look at how your son is bullying us. Hurry up and teach him a lesson!”
Daniel Morgan’s expression was grim. Instead of reprimanding William, he stomped his feet in frustration.
“Can you all stop causing trouble? Life was supposed to be good, but now it’s all gone!”
Connie’s voice became sharp as she retorted, “Who’s causing trouble? Who made our lives like this? It’s your son, who not only went against you but also tried to divide the property with you. If he hadn’t taken most of the company’s working capital, how could K.G. Software Company have ended up like this?”
Daniel Morgan frowned, his face filled with dejection.
At that moment, William spoke again, “I have nothing to do with him right now!”
Daniel Morgan lowered his head in silence. Connie pushed him aside, her expression full of disdain.
“Why are you so useless?”
She then rushed toward William, shouting, “William, I’ll fight you to the death!”
William saw Connie charging at him and quickly dodged. Connie crashed into the long dining table behind him.
The delicious food and dishes on the table were sent crashing to the ground, creating a mess. Connie, knocked hard by the impact, clutched her stomach and screamed in pain.
“Mom!” Emma immediately ran over to her.
“I’m fine, I’m fine,” Connie groaned, struggling to get up.
Seeing her mother in such a state, Emma picked up the cake and dishes from the table and, in a fit of rage, threw them at William.
“William, go to hell!” Emma screamed.
The originally luxurious and orderly banquet had now turned into a farce. Everyone gathered around, watching as William moved swiftly to the left and right, skillfully avoiding the plates and pastries being thrown at him.
At that moment, the organizer arrived with a group of people, followed by several security guards.
The person in charge glanced at the mess on the ground and addressed Connie and her daughter in a firm tone, “Ladies, you’ve severely disrupted the order of the banquet. Please leave immediately.”
Connie immediately pointed at William.
“He was the one who started the fight. You should make him leave!”
William smiled faintly and put his arm around his girlfriend’s shoulder.
“Actually, this lady poured red wine on my girlfriend’s face first. You can check the surveillance footage to see who was in the wrong. But I don’t want to argue with people like you. I just want to take my girlfriend and leave. We’ll go first!”
With that, William turned and walked away with his girlfriend in tow.
