To be honest, I really thought Mr. Hall was innocent. Because of my argument with Herbert, he was the one who got caught in the middle. I couldn’t stand by and watch his company close down without doing anything. But I also knew that Herbert had a bad relationship with John and a particular prejudice against him.
In my opinion, I couldn’t be too aggressive toward him, which is why I tried to speak in a gentler way.

Herbert took the phone and dialed a number.
“Connor, stop going against John. Immediately inform the merchants not to make things difficult for him. We can also help take care of his business.”
