“Please let me go. If I did something wrong, tell me. I will definitely correct it. I swear to God!”
I lowered my head to look at Jeremy’s swollen face and warned him, “Watch your mouth and hands in the future. Otherwise, next time, your private parts will be gone!”
Jeremy immediately covered his private parts with his hand, then nodded vigorously.
“I’ll remember it. I won’t do it again.”
Afterward, I took the tissue from Connor, wiped my hands clean, and then turned to leave.
Bella’s POV:
William and I had finished discussing our deal, and it went very smoothly.
Then, William said, “Bella, I didn’t expect you to have such a relationship with Connie and Emma.”
I frowned. In fact, this wasn’t a secret. Many people knew about my connection with Connie and Emma. But I didn’t want to dwell on it too much, so I simply smiled and stayed silent.
“Uh, I was too stupid in the past to actually date Emma.”

At that moment, Jeremy appeared in the office looking very disheveled. A colleague asked, “What happened? You just went out to buy coffee. How did you end up like this?”
Jeremy touched his face and said, “I accidentally fell on the road, and all the cold drinks and ice cream were ruined!”
He held up the bag in his hand, which was completely mangled, to show everyone.
“How could you fall like this?”
Everyone was suspicious of his explanation.
