Bride of Mr. Billion - Chapter 368

Chapter 369:

About half an hour later, the client still hadn’t arrived, and I began to feel anxious. I took out my phone, intending to make a call to confirm the delay.

Just as I was about to dial, the door opened from the outside. I quickly gathered my legs and stood up, ready to greet the important client.

When the man entered, I saw his face clearly.

It turned out to be Herbert!

He said, “Why do you always treat me like this?”

I placed the document on the table and replied, “This is what Ella asked me to give to you. I’ve completed my task. I’m leaving now!”

I turned around and was about to leave with my bag, but he grabbed my arm. A wave of panic washed over me. The terrible memories of that day came rushing back.

“Herbert, I’m warning you, don’t do anything stupid, or I’ll call the police!” I said firmly, though my voice betrayed my fear.

Hearing this, Herbert looked up and laughed. His laughter sent chills down my spine. I stared at him in horror.

After laughing, he reached out and touched my hair. I tried to stop him, but my body trembled uncontrollably. Herbert continued to laugh.

“Aren’t you usually so fierce? Why are you afraid now?” he taunted.

“Let me go!” My voice shook, but I tried to sound strong. It was all an act, though. The memory of what happened last time still haunted me, and I couldn’t help but panic. Herbert seemed different, like a completely changed person. What had happened to him?

“You want to call the police?” he sneered. Then, he took my phone from my bag and turned it off.

I tried to grab it back, but he threw it onto the carpet far away.

“Help! Help! Help!” I screamed, but Herbert’s expression remained cold.

“Today, I’ve booked all the rooms on the 12th floor, and all the staff have been sent away. No one will hear you. I’ll treat it as your moan,” he said darkly.

I pushed him away and ran toward the door, but Herbert caught up with me and grabbed the back of my neck. It felt like I was back in that nightmare from a few days ago, when he had forced himself on me.

Herbert seemed furious. He pulled me to the desk in front of the French window, pressing my waist against it. I knew if I didn’t resist, I would be violated again.

“Herbert, what exactly do you want? Did you come here from hundreds of kilometers away just to force yourself on me? Is this really worth it?” I shouted.

“Whether it’s worth it or not is none of your business!” Herbert snapped.

I glared at him and said, “Did Caroline fail to satisfy you? Is that why you need to find another woman to fulfill your needs? Can’t you find someone else who’s willing to sleep with you?”

“I only want you,” he replied, his voice low and intense.

Herbert stared at me with a terrible expression.

Bella’s POV:

“Pervert!”

I reached out and slapped Herbert across the face. Herbert was even angrier. He pushed me right onto the desk! My face was pressed against the wooden desk, my whole body was lying on the hard wooden board, and my lower abdomen was pressed against the sharp corner of the table. It was very painful.

“Herbert, you bastard, what are you going to do?”
