A Demonial Destiny: The Alpha Triplets - Chapter 342

Chapter 342:

My voice was hoarse, and I was on the verge of breaking down in tears, but still, she stayed silent.

“Please, say something.” I approached her, placing my hand firmly over hers. “Anything, just talk to me. Say anything. I’m going crazy. Your silence is terrifying.”

“Aurora!” My voice shook as pain pierced through my heart, watching the woman I loved treat me like I didn’t exist.

“Please, don’t ignore me. It hurts.” My grip tightened on her arms, and she struggled to free herself.

Irritated by my pleading, she slammed her fist against the cabinet, shooting me a death glare that spoke volumes of her displeasure.

I quickly released her, but she continued on, placing the cup of coffee and the plate of sandwiches on a ceramic tray before leaving the kitchen, leaving me behind.

Frustrated, I was about to block her exit when she lost her balance. The hot coffee and sandwich slipped from her hands and spilled onto me.

“Fuck! I always mess things up,” I muttered under my breath.

I withdrew my hands from her, gritting my teeth as the hot liquid burned my skin, but I didn’t let the pain affect me for long.

The pain was nothing compared to what she must have felt when I abandoned her.

I didn’t care what it took, I was determined to make things right with her.

“It’s not a problem, I’m healing already.” I forced a smile, trying to convince her that I was fine when, in reality, I felt the complete opposite. My jaw tightened as the burning from the hot coffee shot straight to my brain, causing my hand to sting painfully. She frowned in displeasure before pain flashed in her eyes.

She knew I was lying.

She could feel part of my pain, thanks to the bond we shared as mates.

I followed her exhausted gaze as she looked from the spilled coffee and broken cups to the cabinet. A weary sigh escaped her lips as she hissed in annoyance.

I was going to make her redo breakfast.

I was a jerk, and my presence only made everything worse.

“It’s not a problem,” I continued, trying to salvage the situation. “I can clean the kitchen and make a quick breakfast in the blink of an eye. You wouldn’t even notice that anything happened.” I flashed a nervous smile, hoping to impress her, but the frown on her face deepened, expressing her frustration with the wasted effort.

Maybe if I had just stayed out of the way, this wouldn’t have happened.

“I’m sorry,” I blurted, suppressing the urge to crowd her with my presence.

I couldn’t remember the last time I said sorry.

I was an arrogant king, and I never apologized to anyone.

To me, “sorry” was for weaklings, and I was no weakling.

But I didn’t mind becoming a weakling for Aurora.

My heart clenched painfully the moment she hissed before storming out of the kitchen in anger.

Not even the pain in my arm could compare to the ache in my heart.

A demonial destiny the alpha triples – Sneak Peek Aurora I let out a weary sigh as my eyes met the enormous clock on the wall. It was past 1 a.m. Yesterday’s chores had been endless. Despite starting early, long before anyone else was awake, I had worked nonstop until the next day, with no breaks. Nathalia, the Alpha’s daughter, had been pleased to see me buried in work. She rejected anyone’s attempt to assist me and punished them severely—just like she always did. Her cruelty kept people away from me, their fear of her harsh punishments outweighing any sympathy they might have had.
