Chapter 95:
“I’m sorry,” she replied flatly, her face betraying none of the turmoil inside.
“We are supposed to help each other. It’s the game of life.” His voice trailed off as he stared into space. “That Aurora girl is rapidly taking your place in Damon’s heart. I see the way he looks at her. He relaxes around her. His attitude changes. I don’t trust them.”
Rosa’s eyebrows shot up in shock, disbelief crashing over her. “She won’t dare!”
“She already has, and it’s a shame you couldn’t detect it. To think you have more access to Damon just because you’re his mistress.”
“It would be a disaster if Damon falls in love with her. It could be the end of our plans.” His voice trembled with uncertainty. “Imagine our entire scheme getting disrupted because of that bitch.”
“Never!” Rosa cut in, her voice seething with anger and jealousy.
“This is getting harder because her presence is a huge threat to us. If you can’t handle it, I’ll find someone else to replace you.”
“I will. I won’t let you down, Uncle,” she affirmed, slightly bowing her head in submission.
“Good. Make yourself useful to the King once more and let him become obsessed with you. I want him to hate that girl so much that he regrets sending her to his castle.”
Rosa’s jaw clenched in determination, jealousy burning in her chest. Her narrowed gaze was fixed on Silas, waiting for his next move. Thoughts raced through her mind.
Thoughts of how to make Aurora’s life miserable.
“I need you to do something to get his full attention. Be smart about it, and no one must find out the truth. I’ll send you some herbs to help.”
Rosa’s smirk grew wild at Silas’ words. He was quick with his strategies. What would she do without him?

“I’ll do anything,” she said, her voice rigid with determination.
“I heard that bastard is still searching for an heir,” Silas scoffed, his face darkening with mischief. “With this, you could become his favorite, even his Luna.”
“I’ll do anything, just name it!” Rosa gritted her teeth in frustration as Silas continued to mince his words.
“You will get pregnant with his child. But it will be a fake pregnancy. If anyone finds out, you’re dead!”
Damon
A sudden surge of sadness and confusion enveloped my heart the moment I opened my eyes. My eyebrows furrowed in concern as I tried to recall the source of my unease. It turned out I had been dreaming, but it was one of the strangest dreams I had ever experienced. Still caught in the confusion, my fingers instinctively moved to my forehead, lightly caressing it as the dream replayed in my mind.
I could have dismissed it as just another product of my imagination, but it refused to leave my memory so easily. I couldn’t shake the feeling that something was off, but what did it mean?
Why was Ivy staring at me so expressionlessly? Why wouldn’t she talk to me, or even come close?
Despite my calls, she kept her distance, holding her protruding belly as if shielding our unborn child from me. My heart sank as the realization struck me.
