“They’re foster siblings,” Lucas explained.
“Oh, I know! But even so… They were raised as siblings. In the public’s eyes, they are family. If they become a couple, wouldn’t people judge them? It might even ruin the Hoffman family’s reputation.”
Lucas chuckled lightly, clearly unbothered by the prospect. “So? As long as they truly love each other, what is there to fear? If two people are determined to be together, they will overcome any obstacles that may come their way.”

As she stepped into the hallway, her face lit up with a triumphant smile.
